I bought this groupon by mistake and although I don't drink beer, the road trip was fun and the FF employees were extremely cordial. I like that half the proceeds go to military families. I can give the lager away to friends. Yes definitely take this trip.

Good beer and a good bargain via Groupon!

What You'll Get

Relaxing is easy if you've got a cold beer and one of those massage chairs made of lifelike mechanical hands. Kick back with this Groupon.

$20 for a Case of Founding Fathers Lager and a T-Shirt ($40 Value)

Pick up 24 cans of the amber-colored American lager at any of the listed locations; half of the company's profits are donated to help families of U.S. troops. The brew's flavor stems from two-row barley, three traditional hops from the Pacific Northwest, and a hint of roasted caramel malt. Groupon buyers can use the black, heavyweight ComfortSoft XL T-shirt—which bears the Founding Fathers logo with George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson on it—to demonstrate their fandom of the brewery and of paper money.

About Founding Fathers Brewing Co.

Inspired by the values of early America, Founding Fathers Brewing Co. was created to offer a premium domestic beer to compete with the products of foreign-owned breweries, all while giving something back to military families. According to the Greenville Journal, founder, president, and CEO Phil Knutsen's father, father-in-law, son, and college roommate all served in the armed forces, inspiring him to get involved. His company is also guided by the knowledge and experience of a military advisory board, and half of Founding Fathers’ profits go to nonprofit organizations supporting families of U.S. Military personnel.

Brewers craft the company’s homegrown beers in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, including a full-bodied lager and a golden, light version for sippers watching their waistlines or saving their calories for a whole apple pie. Customers can now find the bottles and cans in a growing number of locations across the country.
