Do I have to wear helmets and protective gear?
Helmets and protective gear are not required, but feel free to bring your own. Keep in mind that there’s no rental or sale of protective gear on-site.
Is there a place to store my personal items?
Single-use lockers are available for 75 cents. They’re about 12”x15” or 12”x18”. If any issues arise, ask the manager for help.
Can I bring outside food or drinks?
Outside food is not allowed, but there's a great Snack Bar and vending machines. Water is the only exception.
What’s the age requirement for skating?
There’s no age or skill requirement for regular public sessions. Skates are available for all sizes, from toddler to adult. Some sessions allow strollers on the rink, but check with the manager first. All strollers must be pushed by an adult.
Do you have skates for rent?
Skates can be rented at the time of redemption for $8 per person. Inline skates are not available for rent, but you can bring your own. Only quad skates are provided for rental!

Fountain Valley Skating Center celebrates roller-skating as both a family-friendly recreational activity and a sport. During fun-filled open sessions on the spacious rink, families spin around in rented skates to an upbeat soundtrack. Birthday boys and girls celebrate their special days with music, ice cream, and zooming around the rink with all of their friends. Little ones learn to safely move on their wheels during tiny-tot sessions, and adults mingle over coffee and skate to a delightfully old-timey soundtrack of organ music and auto-tuned Franklin Roosevelt speeches.
Fountain Valley Skating Center fosters creative expression and athletic prowess through its roller skating classes. Led by title-holding champs, the classes cover how to jump, spin, and balance on roller skates.
