Brian Booher, a PGA- and TPI-certified golf instructor, teaches clubbers of all skill levels the necessary tools to help shave strokes off of their games during comprehensive lessons and performance evaluations in Four Seasons Golf Center’s indoor, year-round facility. Clients also undergo a K-Vest analysis, during which a 3-D motion-capture system records players’ swing measurements with the aim of helping to improve mechanics. Then, a TPI evaluation assesses the full picture of their swing based on an array of tests usually reserved for professional golfers and rich celebrity gophers, all performed according to the standards of the Titleist Performance Institute. This evaluation analyzes the body, swing, and equipment to prescribe a training program that integrates seamlessly with PGA instruction. Post-lesson, customers can access a six-week online workout program that aims to prepare them for a better all-around golf game.
Four Seasons accommodates golfers all year, with an outdoor driving range with grass tees and a heated indoor dome with two levels of artificial tees. Like a programmable robot dance partner, lessons are tailored to each client’s physical capabilities and include all necessary balls and buckets.
Four Seasons Golf Center
Just as its name conveys its year-round commitment to the game of golf, Four Seasons Golf Center's size and scope is easily described in terms of numbers. The outdoor night-lighted driving range furnishes golfers with 80 different tee stations including 50 natural grass tees, all oriented toward five target greens situated downrange and sitting adjacent to an 8,000-square-foot putting green. Meanwhile, underneath the giant dome, 48 more tee stations and three target greens allow swings to continue well after dusk.
Each of these features add up to an immersive golf experience in which players can practice their swings and perfect their putts throughout the year in any weather. When competitiveness begins to percolate, an 18-hole miniature golf course awaits putters. The center also hosts several non-golf programs, including a regular boot camp and martial arts classes for youngsters.
