What You'll Get
Flying in an airplane, like meditation, provides a clear perspective, a sense of elevation, and the power to bend spoons. Dominate your surroundings with today's Groupon: for $199, you get an aerobatic airplane thrill ride from Four Winds Aviation at Aero Country Airport in McKinney (a $349.99 value).
Manned by a competitive flier and certified instructor, the aerobatic thrill ride whips and dips a Pitts biplane through heart-stopping aerial tricks. Before liftoff, participants receive a 20-minute flight brief discussing the flight's stunt maneuvers, safety procedures for the plane, and instructions on haranguing copycat geese in their own honking tongue. On-looking aviators strap into the front seat of the biplane for optimum views, allowing the pilot to soar into the sky and commence with loops, rolls, and hammerheads for 30 adrenaline-pumping minutes. Steely-stomached visitors can document the wild ride with a video of the flight ($49, not included with this deal).
