What You'll Get

2009 can be a new year for you and your body. You can get fit, feel great, look great, and even become famous, if you work hard. I should know - I'm Jared, the Subway guy, and I lost 1,000 pounds in just a year. But working hard starts with working smart, and any New Years resolution to get fit may fall flat if you don't begin with a thorough assessment of your body fat and metabolism rate. You want to know something? Subway sandwiches were really more of a liability to during my weight loss period. Do you think I really dropped 1,000 pounds by downing pizza & meatball subs for breakfast, lunch and dinner? No I didn't. Although I was pounding those meaty subs - I only lost a ton by starting with a body fat test & metabolic assessment - from which Subway's team of fitness trainers and scientists developed a specific exercise.

Don't have a team of trainers and scientists working desperately to get you in shape? Well with today's Groupon gets you actually do! You great deal on body fat and metabolic assessments at My Fitness Company. By signing up today, you pay nothing and you get a free body fat test to learn your Body Mass Index (BMI). Knowing your BMI is a good starting point for determining about how much you should potentially lose.

And if you want the full arsenal of assessments, Groupon has you covered with big 30% discounts on the assessments used to most accurately determine your metabolism and the kind of fitness that will be most effective for you. Pay just $136.50 for the Exercise Assessment, (normally $195.00) and just $129.50 for the Resting Metabolic Assessment (normally $185.00). With a purchase of either assessment, people with today's Groupon will also get one reusable New Leaf ™ Metabolic Assessment Kit ($50 value), which is necessary to take the assessment, and can be reused for any future assessments. For both assessments and the kit, you'll have a combined Groupon savings of $164. Why, with that money I could buy 32.8 foot-longs. That's more than 10 yards of sub. First down!

Most weight loss plans calculate how many calories you need based on gender, height and weight. Studies have shown that these calculations do not work for everyone. Your metabolism is as unique to you as your fingerprint, or your preference of a Spicy Italian Sub over a Steak & Cheese Sub. A Resting Metabolic Assessment is the most accurate way to find out how many calories you need.

Meanwhile, the Exercise Assessment will give you valuable results that can make your training more effective, whether your goal is to get fit, lose weight, compete in a triathlon, or maintain your same body weight while being able to consume more Subway Subs every day, the exercise assessment will give you valuable results that can make your training more effective. Once the assessment is complete you’ll know which heart rate zones you should target in training in order to meet your fitness goals and how many calories you burn within each heart rate zone. Effectively, you'll be able to train smarter, not harder

Please note that Jared willingly endorsed these metabolic tests without any sponsorship reward, without being forced or cajoled, and without Groupon even telling him about all the fame this exposure will provide him. Also please note that these endorsements come not from Jared Fogle, the Subway sponsor who lost 425 pounds eating only Subway sandwiches and who could sue Groupon for slander if we didn't clarify that this is not him, but rather Jared "the Brute" Kovmitsky, who as mentioned above dropped 1,000 pounds eating only Subway pizza and meatball subs. Check out his remarkable weight loss pics: before and after.
