Free Kids’ Event: Anne Frank in the World: 1929-1945

After she was denied asylum in the United States and before she perished in the Holocaust, Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl who kept a diary detailing her life while hidden in an Amsterdam attic during World War II. This free exhibit displays more than 500 photographs of the time period, a replica of Anne’s room, a short film about Anne, and artwork from local students. All of these elements help highlight the atrocities of war and Nazi Germany and the importance of standing up for those in danger.
