Park rangers and staff from San Francisco Maritime lead walks designed to get people up and moving.
Lands’ End Walk on November 5
On a vigorous walk that floods the nostrils with salty sea air, guides tell tales of ships that have wrecked on the rugged San Francisco coastline while groups hike around it. RSVP to find out its starting location.
Chinatown’s Maritime Stories on December 3
Rangers lead groups from Chinatown to San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, and along the way, the rangers discuss life for early 20th century immigrants. Groups learn how the immigrants got jobs working in the salmon canneries, as well as learn about Maritime history.
