The house specialty at Free Soul Sky Diving is the two-mile dive. First-time divers ride the center's plane to 10,000 feet in the air, then dive—harnessed, tandem-style, to an instructor—into about a mile of free fall. During the dive they reach speeds of up to 130 miles per hour, or the same speed at which action stars drive when the plot requires them to be a few states over soon.

Once duos reach a 5,000-foot elevation, though, the instructor deploys the parachute, a giant Ram-Air style. Suddenly, the dive shifts from a plummet to a leisurely descent. Most tandem pairs land as softly as a leaf.
