What You'll Get
What could be more romantic than an evening of love songs? Why, an evening of love songs from France of course, performed by the acclaimed Fremont Symphony Quartet and featuring powerhouse vocals from Bay Area soprano Carrie Hennessey and her baritone counterpart Zachary Gordin. Together they will sing sensuous melodies by French composers such as Gabriel Faure, Francis Poulenc and the Venezuela-born Reynaldo Hahn. Setting the turn-of-the-century Parisian scene at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, the orchestra will also play Gershwin's An American in Paris and Claude Debussy's revolutionary String Quartet.
