Cemetry Palace

New Orleans is known for its rich past and vibrant culture, and no neighborhood showcases this better than the Garden District. Once home to America’s wealthiest families, this district boasts grand estates that rival European palaces. Visitors will pass by ornate balconies, pristine gardens, and historic homes once owned by authors, actors, and even legendary football stars.

The tour continues into Lafayette Cemetery No. 1, where guests step into a world of above-ground tombs, family crypts, and timeless legends. Recognizable from films like Interview with the Vampire, the cemetery offers a hauntingly beautiful glimpse into New Orleans’ unique burial customs.
