What is one fun, unusual fact about your business?
Our Frepes are made daily ... in our very own pastry bar and are served hot to order. Customers choose from a selection of 10 sweet toppings, proceeding to watch their fresh piece of dough transform into a fluffy and fun pastry before their eyes, in under two minutes.
Do you use any family recipes at your restaurant? Whose family do they belong to (the chef, the owner, or someone else)?
Our shop is family-owned and inspired by an array of ethnic cultures that have been making float-cooked pastry for hundreds of years (these include Native-American, Canadian, and Hungarian pastry desserts). Our recipe is a collaborative effort of knowledgable foodies, a highly experienced baker, and a few young professionals who have a passion for experiential eating.
In your own words, how would you describe your menu?
Choose from a selection of 10 sweet flavors and textures to dress your whole-wheat Frepes pastry. Our menu has a variety of signature toppings geared for the simple bunch (cinnamon & sugar, chocolate hazelnut with powdered sugar) as well as richer, more complex toppings for the more adventurous palate, [such as] chocolate hazelnut with reese's pieces and peanut butter drizzle or melted chocolate with crushed graham crackers and marshmallow fluff.
