The evil demon Krampus has come to town to spoil everyone’s holiday cheer. Although its halls were once decked for Christmas, the Victorian-themed Bloodmare Manor has now been infested with cannibalistic elves, rabid reindeer, crazed carolers, and other merry mayhem-makers.
The Fright Before Christmas also features snacks, raffles, live entertainment, and a creepy Christmas costume contest, which takes place at 8 p.m. on both days.
A labyrinth filled only with darkness. A Victorian manor occupied by the sinister Bloodmare family. A 3D carnival of demented clowns and cobwebbed corpses. These aren't horror film premises—these are a few of the many attractions at Fright Kingdom, one of the largest indoor haunted attractions in New England. Each year, guests meander through the 80,000-square-foot Halloween-themed facilities to squeal at ghosts, monsters, and vampires as well as check if the pulses in their wrists still work.
Five distinct houses each with detailed set design, live actors, and intricate animations offer visitors their pick of horror genres: Zombie Apocalypse, Victorian-themed Bloodmare Manor, the twisted Psycho-Circus in 3D, Grim, and Castle of Corpses. Less terrifying offerings include concessions, a fortune teller, games, and face painting. In recognition of their reign of terror, Fright Kingdom was named one of America's Best Haunts in 2013 and 2014, as well as voted the #1 Haunted House by WMUR Viewer’s Choice in 2013 and 2014.
