The bar became a neighborhood institution after community quilting faded into obscurity, leaving countless citizens nary a nook to discuss patchwork variations and decorative tessellations. Socialize in the modern-day meeting point with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of pub grub and nonalcoholic drinks at The Frisco Bar.
Frisco's first neighborhood bar, The Frisco Bar set out from the get-go to create an inviting establishment stuffed to the brim with chatter and benevolent chortles. The Frisco Bar menu specializes in unpretentious, crowd-pleasing pub grub. Those looking to unleash carnivorous desires can snag the ancho-mayo-adorned turkey burger ($9). The hearty tenderloin sandwich ($10) features a tenderloin fillet with red onions and provolone on grilled sourdough bread to provide a satisfying slam of flavor. Snackable appetizers, such as coconut shrimp ($9) and buffalo wings ($10 for a dozen), occupy fingers while eyeballs are glued to the tube.
The Frisco Bar is equipped with eight 50-inch HDTVs that provide patrons with every single inch of sporting action from the Cowboys to the less popular antics of the all-bear hockey league. Other entertaining amenities include darts and an 18-inch shuffleboard table. Comfortable accommodations include soft leather seats and bar stools, scientifically patterned after the silky smoothness of space clouds. The patio provides respite for those longing for some fresh plant-produced air.
- It is one of the only cool neighborhood bars in the area. The drinks are not powder puffy, they are real and the food is amazing for bar food. Entire staff is friendly, attentive & caring. It truly is the Cheers of the area. – rosannebest, CityVoter

The Frisco Bar
Though The Frisco Bar initially opened to provide the people of Frisco with a neighborhood hangout, the eatery is far from a typical bar. Sure, the menu is dotted with traditional bar food, such as burgers, pizza, and fish and chips, but these hearty meals also share page-space with more upscale feasts, including fish and tenderloin tacos, sweet-potato fries, and lumpia rolls packed with ground pork, carrots, and sprouts. To complement meals, bartenders pour glasses of cabernet, sauvignon blanc, and pinot grigio, and concoct nine unconventionally flavored martinis, from chocolate-covered raspberry to cinnamon apple pie. During their visit, patrons can sink into the eatery’s soft leather and velvet seating, play shuffleboard and darts, or test new pick-up lines on sports announcers broadcasted across the bar's collection 50-inch HD TVs.
