Choose Between Two Options

 • $30 for a 90-minute intro lesson for standup paddleboard, kayak, or canoe for one person (a $60 value)
 • $85 for a 90-minute intro lesson for standup paddleboard, kayak, or canoe for three people (a $180 value)

Held at the West Point of the Eno River, introductory classes get beginners acclimated with captaining their choice of paddle vessel. Students can choose from three different mini clinics: SUP Intro, Kayak or Canoe Capsize Recovery & Rescue, and Intro to Kayak Rolling. During the standup-paddleboard (SUP) mini clinic, students learn how to get on and off the board, proper stance, paddling maneuvers, and basic safety. The kayak or canoe capsize-and-recovery course teaches students important skills for navigating lakes and rivers, such as how to wet exit and then how to turn upright and re-enter the boat in deep water.

They asked what I was interested in learning and then did a very good job of teaching me what I asked for.
