Paintball players are expected to follow the honour code—if you're hit, you should remove yourself from the field of play, and if you see a bear, you have to give it your gun. Respect the natural order with this Groupon.

A thick forest canopy arches above players at Tsawwassen Paintball, creating a majestic background in front of which their careful aim rains splattered paint on their opponents. On the ground, abandoned helicopters and hollowed-out bunkers create a post-apocalyptic-looking war field and provide players barriers behind which to evade the aim of their opponents. Ambitious participants climb to the top of two-storey buildings in the zone for better views of their shots or to check their teammates’ heads for dandruff. As each game lasts 15–20 minutes, players get help from their rented antifog masks, which help to keep their views clear and protect their faces during play. Referees keep close watch as players attempt to capture the other team’s flag or aim to eliminate them from play. Between bouts, teams may refuel at the concession stand, where they can nosh on hot dogs, chips, and pop.
