About Fulin's Asian Cuisine
The Chinese character "Fu" can have many meanings, but for Fulin's founder David Lin, it means "good fortune, happiness, blessings and wealth." It's an appropriate character, given Lin's own story. After leaving his native Fujian province after the Tiananmen Square protests, he emigrated to the United States and began learning the restaurant business from the bottom up. Two decades later, the first Fulin's Asian Cuisine opened, offering a fine-dining experience focused on Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Meals of sushi and sashimi, sweet and sour chicken, and mongolian beef sail to elegant tables, offering both the thrill of a flavorful bite and the terror of getting soy sauce on the linens.
