What You'll Get
Ziplines originally were invented for just two functions: sneaking hamburgers over the Berlin Wall and zazzing up presidential entrances to State of the Union addresses. Soar through aerodynamic history with today’s Groupon to Full Blast Adventure Center in Durango, Colorado. Choose between the following options:
- For $69, you get a zipline tour for one (a $145 value).
- For $131, you get a zipline tour for two (a $290 value).<p>
Full Blast Adventure Center’s canopy zipline tours elevate participants over forest floors for an educational aerial adventure through the ponderosa pines. After donning safety gear and situating themselves on sturdy platforms, tourists fly through the woodland brush on a series of cables while marveling at splendid Colorado mountain views and challenging squirrels to pull-up contests on tree branches. Naturalists zip alongside guests and identify critters, local vegetation, and historical sites in between airborne voyages. Staffers supervise every step of the 2.5-hour tours, confirming that safety techniques are followed and customers are properly satiated with snacks and drinks. For an additional $50 fee, guests can remain suspended above terra firma for four hours on a trek that includes the acclaimed Ridge Runner, Chicken’s First, and The Big Daddy ziplines, the last of which only permits riders after they mow the lawn. Canopy tours leave every two hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
