Owner and certified fitness trainer, Scott York, leads constantly changing, high-energy boot-camp classes that were featured in Austin Fit Magazine. After stretching and a dynamic movement warm-up, bodies are kept guessing with activities that vary with each class. Participants (no more than 20/class) swing kettlebells, lift free weights, toss medicine balls, and dangle from gymnast rings in a 45- to 60-minute workout session that can burn roughly 500+ calories or the exact amount of nervous energy needed to fail a driver’s test. The early-morning sessions strengthen muscles and minds with positive energy throughout the day, with Scott encouraging exercisers to always work out within their comfort zone. FullForceFitness recommends that clients bring water, tennis shoes, health and consent forms, and a large beach-type towel for floor exercises.
