About Fun Creation Studio

Katty Cedeno, owner of Fun Creation Studio, sees the creative process as a kind of informal therapy for the stresses of modern life. There's something meditative about turning raw white ceramic into a uniquely colorful artwork, and something restorative about doing so alongside friends or family members. The process is as simple as can be: first, choose a mug, a bowl, or perhaps a dragon figurine. Then it's time to paint, choosing from a rainbow of colors to paint messages, shapes, and words of praise for the World's Greatest Mug Fan. The studio assistants are there to offer help and advice along the way. At the end of the session, pieces are turned over to the staff to receive a clear glaze and a relaxing sauna session in the kiln, after which they'll be food-safe.
