What You'll Get
Sit-ups remain one of the best methods of reshaping the abdomen, second only to standing in front of a cannon. Enjoy explosive exercise with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $29 for 10 Metabolic or Strongman conditioning classes (a $105.80 value)
- $39 for 20 Metabolic or Strongman conditioning classes (a $211.60 value)
Clients can mix and match any combination of 60-minute Metabolic or Strongman conditioning classes. Groups of up to 20 students meet for a high-intensity interval-training program or a muscle-building regimen using just about anything but weights. Metabolic classes use short bursts of intense cardio, such as the Tabata method, to crank up metabolisms and burn calories long after the workout has ended. Strongman conditioning builds muscle mass by pushing clients to lift, swing, and haul sandbags, kettlebells, battling ropes, a heavy chain, sled, and every Emmy Award won by Frasier.

About Further Fitness
Further Fitness trainers Jamie Dreyer and Maribel Torres have made it their mission to "dispel . . . myths and old-wives tales" about fitness. Inspired by their backgrounds in youth sports, exercise-science studies, and a chance encounter with fitness godfather Jack LaLanne, they have created an effective, challenging, and exciting program focused on the fundamentals of boosting metabolisms and muscle mass. Their stripped-down studio builds bodies with simple tools, such as kettlebells, battling ropes, and sandbags. To stimulate the cardiovascular system, Jamie and Maribel might have students haul a weight sled and pull in equal amounts of physiology and anatomy knowledge. Sessions are held in semiprivate and group settings, and an athletic-strength program devotes itself exclusively to training high-school-level athletes and any toddlers that can run a decent 40-yard dash or live in the requisite angst in which high schoolers often live.
