What You'll Get
The most secretive body parts are muscles, which hide behind layers of skin and appear only occasionally to help lift cars off trapped kittens. Flex your biceps in the absence of a cat emergency with today's Groupon: for $45, you get a one-month membership (a $119 value) at Fusion Cross-Training. This Groupon can be redeemed at either the Philadelphia location or the Mount Laurel, New Jersey, location.
Fusion Cross-Training offers group and personal training; it's not an exercise factory where rows of strangers sweat silently, but rather a chic, imitate studio where the staff works with the workouts and the heart, muscles, and mind exercise in unison. During one month of membership, students of health get unlimited access to cross-training sessions that include 25 minutes of cardio (running, biking, and rowing), a half hour of strength/resistance training with weights and bands, and 20 minutes of flexibility development via yoga and relaxation exercises. The workouts—which help clients lose weight, tone muscle structure, relieve stress, and burn through fat like hot frying pans—are led by qualified, motivational coaches, and end with a rest period that incorporates aromatherapy and massage to help relax both body and mind. Up to 1,000 calories can be burned in one session.
Fusion Cross-Training has enjoyed quite a bit of positive press, including features on NBC and a “Best Gym” title from Philadelphia Magazine. Check the schedules for Philadelphia and Mount Laurel for class times, and then, with a month’s worth of training and exercise at your disposal, realize your goal of living a healthy lifestyle without deforesting entire copses of broccoli.
New members only.
Fusion has been featured in a great deal of press, including HX, the Post, and Philadelphia Magazine's Best of Philly. The method was also featured on The Biggest Loser. Fifteen Yelpers unanimously award five stars.
- …Fusion is the perfect solution to that weird plugged-into-iPods, not-making-eye-contact syndrome other gyms suffer from. – Philadelphia Magazine
- As someone who's just getting back into fitness, I really appreciate a place like Fusion: it's non-competitive, scalable to any fitness level, and you get individual attention when you need it. – Tess Y., Yelp
- I also really appreciate the Heart-Muscle-Mind philosophy and positive messages which are reinforced throughout the workout and with the "Word of the Week". I'm in the best shape of my life b/c of Fusion, and I never get bored b/c every workout is different. A real life-changer! – Anne S., Yelp
