The business works like this: they quote exorbitantly high prices at first and then start negotiations by slashing their list price by 50%. From there you can go on to negotiate the price down further. The problem is that they refuse to do that 50% discount the amount covered by the Groupon, so your effective discount is reduced massively from what the Groupon would lead you to believe.
That being said, the framing that they did for me looks fantastic, and the price in the end was very very reasonable (just not the insane deal that the Groupon might lead you to believe). You might want to call ahead to find out what the final price with the Groupon will be before buying.

Prices haven't changed since the last time I was there (about 7 years ago). You are shown what you are getting before you agree to anything. The redemption is hassle free.
