Spacious Suites Beneath Dramatic Red Rocks of Sedona
Towers of red sandstone rocks rise up in clusters throughout the desert near Sedona, appearing almost as if they were formed to serve as miniature villages. Though they're not habitable, they've still drawn countless people to Sedona—artists such as Max Ernst have lived here solely to capture the dramatic landscapes, and much of the New Age healing culture believes that the rocks hold certain spiritual powers. The Bell Rock Inn huddles into the shadows directly below the rocks, its adobe walls painted the same color as the hills behind it.
The inn feels like an oasis amid the desert: a fountain trickles in its courtyard, and green plants dot its campus. There's a heated pool outside, and a landscaped walking path winds around the property, showing off some of the area's best views.
In each of the studio rooms, sliding glass doors open up to the pool or to views of the stunning rock formations located just steps from the hotel. A home-like ambiance pervades all of the spacious rooms, including the one-bedroom suites; feel free to use the kitchenette's refrigerator and stove to prep a meal or practice percussion on its pots and pans. At the end of the night, wind down next to an in-suite fireplace in select units.
