Coast Wenatchee Center Hotel

One- or Two-Night Stay at the Coast Wenatchee Center Hotel in Wenatchee, WA

Modern Hotel in Quaint, Mountainous Setting

In the evergreen-covered foothills of the Cascade Mountains, the crisp waters of the Columbia River wind through the quaint town of Wenatchee. It's known as the "Apple Capital of the World" thanks to the many orchards filling the fertile valley. The town is also home to the nine-story Coast Wenatchee Center Hotel. An earthy color palette, roaring fireplace, and rustic wood accents help the hotel blend into its picturesque setting.

Views of the Cascades or the river are on prominent display in deluxe rooms, which have been recently renovated with all-new furnishings and comfortable, contemporary décor. Complimentary WiFi provides all-you-can-surf Internet, and the 32-inch HD-flat screen TV has cable and HBO.

You can use the $30 dining credit included with this Getaway for breakfast or dinner at the Wenatchee Rivertop Bar and Grill. The penthouse eatery is known for its fresh, Northwest cuisine, tapas, and panoramic views of the Columbia River and Wenatchee Valley. The credit is also good for Greek, Italian, Russian, and Ukrainian fare at Inna's Cuisine, located steps from the hotel in downtown Wenatchee.

Wenatchee, WA: Historical Town Amid Scenic Cascade Mountains

On the sunny side of the Cascades' eastern foothills, more than 15 Columbia Valley wineries have sprouted from the fertile soil. With the wine-tour package included with this Getaway, you can receive a complimentary tasting at several participating wineries, such as the Snowdrift Cider Company, whose vintners craft cider blends using Wenatchee apples. The wine-tour package also includes two commemorative wine glasses.

A 45-minute drive north brings you to the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, a 4-million-acre swath of woodland that stretches north to the Canadian border and south to Mount Rainier. More than 1,285 miles of scenic trails are at your disposal. Cyclists can dart in and out of the forest on low-elevation paths, and hikers can practice tooting alpenhorns as they explore the scenic countryside. The glacier-fed Lake Wenatchee presents grassy banks and mountain views—an idyllic setting for swimming or picnicking.

Ohme Gardens, located about 4 miles from the hotel, sends sojourners on a stroll through nearly a mile of natural stone pathways, past hillside gardens, and trickling waterfalls. Statuesque cedars and firs frame views of the Columbia River Valley below.

It was very warm and inviting. The room was cozy and up to date. The restaurant upstairs had great food. I do wish the restaurant was open longer, but other than that it was a great experience!
