Wyndham Dallas Suites Park Central - Dallas, TX

One- or Two-Night Stay for Two at Wyndham Dallas Suites – Park Central in Dallas

Give as a Gift

Contemporary, Conveniently Located Wyndham Hotel with Onsite Bistro

Home to the original Neiman Marcus and a slew of other big-name stores, Dallas is said to have more shopping centers per capita than any other U.S. city. But the NorthPark Center—dubbed one of the most visited malls in America by Travel + Leisure magazine—stands head and shoulders above the rest. Not only is the indoor retail center packed with more than 150 shops, but it's also a showcase for modern architecture and original works by Andy Warhol and other 20th-century artists. Located about 4 miles north in the city’s business district, Wyndham Dallas Suites – Park Central is convenient to prime shopping spots as well as corporate headquarters. The all-suite hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to destinations within a 5-mile radius.

Much like NorthPark Center, Wyndham Dallas Suites boasts a contemporary design scheme. You can see this right away in the lobby, which is furnished with leather lounge chairs and sectional ottomans. The onsite restaurant, Café Biarritz, evokes a European bistro with its open-air dining terrace and open kitchen. In the morning, breakfast is served buffet-style, but lunch and dinner are à la carte affairs with a mix of regional and continental offerings. Head to the lobby bar for a cocktail or glass of wine and views of the atrium's cascading waterfall.

Dallas: Historical Parks and Rejuvenated Urban Districts in North Texas

Though some know Dallas only for the massive Cowboys Stadium (which is actually in Arlington), the city is an enclave of arts and nature, overflowing with botanical gardens, art galleries, and live-theater venues. Historical Main Street connects many of the city’s recently rejuvenated urban districts as well as the popular Main Street Garden, a block-long public park surrounded by architecturally significant buildings. Locals come here to picnic on the expansive lawn or watch a movie under the moonlight in summer and fall.

A short walk from downtown Dallas, you’ll find horse-drawn carriages clopping along brick streets in the city's historic West End district, which dates back to the 19th century. The West End became especially notable when President Kennedy was assassinated at Dealey Plaza in November 1963. At The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, housed in the former Texas School Book Depository, you can tour the site where Lee Harvey Oswald is believed to have shot at Kennedy’s presidential motorcade.

Joggers and bikers can zip through the fashionable Turtle Creek neighborhood, located about 4 miles west of downtown, via the Katy Trail, which follows an old interstate railroad. Back near downtown Dallas, the 277-acre Fair Park is the site of North America's largest ferris wheel as well as seven museums and four performing-arts centers, many of which occupy art-deco buildings built for the 1936 Texas Centennial Exposition.
