Q:

If there are no calories, what is the substance of the noodles? Are they fiber or what? I understand that they are made from yams which have calories, so I would appreciate the information of the substance.0

A:

The yam plant is known as the konnyaku plant It is in the yam family but only grows today in Asia. The powder derived from that plant is known as gluccomannan. Gluoomannan is 100 percent soluble fiber which is a fiber that does not contain calories.

Q:

what is the expiration date on noodles? eat before?

lisa b.  asked on  Oct 11, 2012

A:

All batches are different but I can tell you that they have six months shelf life from October 1 so eat before April 1. That being said they do not have any calories and if NoOodles stay in the original packaging they have been tested good for yours. No bacteria can grow on something that has no calories. Enjoy!
