Q:

Under the special equipment FAQ, you recommend using our live labs and routers for the most interactive experience. Does this mean traveling to a real, physical lab or is this also online?

Tony D.  asked on  Nov 18, 2012

A:

Thanks for the question! Live labs and routers are all available online rather than in-person. Here is the answer we received directly from IT University Online: "Having a live lab or router simulator can enhance your training experience. If you have an existing simulator, you may use that with our course. There are many simulators available on the market. We offer a live lab environment as an add-on. Your add-on rate would be $69.00 for a three month access or $150.00 for a one year access. This would give you access to a virtual environment that would allow you to login and preform all of the exercises and labs you see in the training. This is an optional component."

Q:

The cost for test(s) appears to be a separate cost. If you do not pass the test the first time, are you allowed multiple attempts within reason?

Tony D.  asked on  Nov 18, 2012

A:

Sorry for the confusion. This Groupon is just for the training bundle which help students prepare for CCNA and CCNP certification. It does not cover the actual exams to achieve certification. You can read about the training bundle by clicking here.

For any questions about the exams, it would be best to contact a testing center near you. According to the IT University Online FAQ, you can visit www.2test.com or www.vue.com to find a testing center near you.

Brock B.  asked on  Nov 18, 2012

A:

Sorry, but this Groupon is only valid as offered. You would not be able to use the value toward a different course package.
