The reviews on this hotel that are on expedia.com are VERRYYY POOR... A LOT of complaints on poor service, bad food and very long check in waits... I wanted to buy this but I dont know after reading outside reviews.

For all questions regarding availability, please contact the reservation line directly at 1-809-732-1000. You should fly to Las Americas International Airport (SDQ), its only 15 mins away from the hotel. Airfare and ground transportation are not included in this Groupon deal. A taxi from the Airport would cost approximately $30 USD. Upgrades to a deluxe ocean-view with balcony room is $25 per person per night or a pool-view suite for $40 per person per night.

Is there still a deal if we travel with 2 adults and 4 children? Would we need to buy 2 or three of the Groupons? One of the children is a baby, so would he be free?

Yes, you would need to purchase 2 Groupons and pay for the additional 2 children. Adding occupants above standard 2 people is (all-inclusive plan) $69 per night per guest 13 or older; $46 per night per guest 5–12; guests 4 or younger stay free.
