Q:

Are any tours included in the trip package? When will the available guided tours for purchase be able to view with the cost? Rosanne

Rosanne J.  asked on  Feb 10, 2013

A:

Rosanne Thanks for your inquiry We have not included any tours in the package in order to allow customers to decide which tours are most of interest to them. The guided tours should be posted on the web page shortly as I've asked our webmaster to post them earlier today, and indeed before today. My apologies that they have not been up before today. Best Regards JB

Q:

Is there a guide who accompanies the bikers? Approximately how many miles a day would the bikers be biking? What are the lunch arrangements for bikers? What type of bikes are they - racing, mountain or hybrid? Are helmets provided? Are these designated bike paths or if not, how heavy is the traffic? What would be the extra charge to fly out of Detroit?

Jeanne K.  asked on  Feb 9, 2013

A:

Jeanne Thanks for your inquiry There is a guide who rides along with the bikers who will be riding approx 15-35 miles per day. Lunch for anyone biking would be provided by the boat as a lunch bag/box. Bikes are hybrid and helmets are available for rental. There are a combination of designated bike paths and bike routes in rural areas where the traffic is not very heavy........which is most of the way along the Moselle. What dates are you traveling? Let me know and I can advise as to extra charge for Detroit. Best Regards JB

Q:

If you are cruising mostly during the day how much time do we have to actually explore the towns ? One hour or 8 hours, or how much?

Diane B.  asked on  Feb 8, 2013

A:

Diane Thanks for your inquiry. For those who are cycling between towns on the Moselle, there is a lot of time to explore the towns along the route. For those going on any of the bus/van tours, the transportation moves through the different towns and stops at the towns along the way to explore. So to answer your question, there is plenty of time to explore the towns along the Moselle. Hope that helps! JB

Q:

Hi, We are thinking about the April 26 departure. Can you please tell me the additional airfare cost from Toronto? Also, what time would the flight depart? We will be traveling with my grandfather and his friend, could you tell me the cost for insurance for 2 people in their 80's? Thank you,

David K.  asked on  Feb 7, 2013

A:

David Thanks for your inquiry. Additional airfare would start at $250 per person depending on the route chosen, and flight times will also vary depending on the route chosen. Insurance costs vary as well from $75-125 per person for basic medical, flight delay and baggage insurance to $300-400 per person for trip cancellation insurance. Hope that helps! Feel free to call or e-mail with any further questions! JB

Q:

I would like to upgrade the room on the ship (2 people); how do I do this? Also, I still dont know-what is the fee for the daily guided tours? I know the bike fee for the week is $110 per person. Unless one stays on the boat for the days cruise one must either bike or take the guided tour. Please clarify what the fee is for the tour. Thank you!

Elisabeth D.  asked on  Feb 7, 2013

A:

Elisabeth Thanks for your inquiry. The upgrade on the ship is $195 per person to the Upper Deck. You can just indicate that you wish to purchase that when you buy the Groupon and redeem the voucher. The prices for the daily guided tours will vary depending on which tours are taken. Typically the fees vary between $65 -125 per person depending on which tours are purchased. We will send more details on this as soon as possible. Please feel free to call or e-mail with any further questions. Best Regards JB
