Cruise to Morocco and the Canary Islands
Spain’s Canary Islands are home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, but you can do more than just sunbathe here. The islands also contain historic churches and forts, trendy neighborhoods, and national parks that are worth checking out. On this 9-day cruise from Beyond Boundaries Travel, you’ll get a chance to explore three of the 13 islands in the archipelago, as well as two coastal towns in nearby Morocco. Travel in style between ports of call on the MSC Armonia, which features two outdoor pools, two restaurants and bars, an onboard casino, and a Broadway-style theater.
The cruise includes:
- Round-trip airfare from JFK (7.5-hour flight)
- 7 nights in an interior stateroom on the MSC Armonia
- All meals (alcoholic beverages not included)

There’s no set itinerary, so you’re free to explore each city at your own pace. We’ve outlined some suggestions for each port of call, below.
Las Palmas, Canary Islands (Days 1 & 8)
- Time in port: Your flight arrives in the early morning and the ship departs at 8 p.m.
- Fun fact: Las Palmas is Spain’s seventh-largest city.
- Best place to eat and drink: Vegueta, the city’s historic center; Christopher Columbus once strolled its cobbled streets.

At Sea (Day 2)
- Relax Onboard: With the ship at sea, guests can relax onboard the ship, including sunbathing at the two swimming pools.

Agadir, Morocco (Day 3)
- Time in port: The ship pulls into port at 7 a.m. and departs at 2 p.m.
- Hit the beach: The coastal town has more than 6 miles (10 km) of fine-sand beaches and gets 300 days of sunshine a year.
- Go shopping: at the medina, a marketplace made of brick, stone, and wood where you can buy local crafts and get a cup of coffee.

Casablanca, Morocco (Days 4–5)
- Time in port: The ship pulls into port at 7 a.m. and departs the following day at 2 a.m.
- Must-see mosque: The Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most ornate in the world, offers English tours several times a day.
- Modern city marvels: The trendy Mâarif and Anfa districts are filled with luxury boutiques, restaurants, and glittering high-rises.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How much would it cost to fly from an airport not listed as part of this deal?
Rates vary depending on your departure dates and your departure city. Please call our office and we can let you know what those costs are looking like at the moment.

2. Can we extend our trip before or after the promotional dates for the deal?
Yes! You can absolutely extend your time in Las Palmas, and if you are wanting to travel to other locations we can also look into a different departure city for the return trip. Do be aware that there is usually a supplemental fee to change your flights for extended time even if you are flying from JFK.

3. How do I find out if the dates I want to travel are available?
You can give our office a call and we can inquire with the boat if your dates are still available. The likelihood of a date not being available is very slim, though.

4. What happens if I buy the Groupon and my travel dates are not available?
You have the option to move to another date that is available. We will work with you to find a date that you can travel on that is still available. If we are not able to find an acceptable travel date you always have the option of having your trip refunded, or using the amount you paid to go toward a different trip with us.

5. Does my child need a Groupon, and can they stay in my room?
Children do need a Groupon as all rooms are based on double occupancy, regardless of age. The majority of cabins are for two people with no option for extra beds. There may be a possibility of a triple room, but you will need to give our office a call to inquire about the availability of a triple based on your dates of travel as these rooms are limited.
