Bad front desk experience, rooms are spacious but a bit beat up too. Comfortable, but can improve At check in, I asked for a room not facing the street, young woman at front desk said it makes no difference, and refused to even try... I was on a short overnight layover and didn't really fight it. The room facing the street does have some noise, especially it is a decently busy street, and Florida doesn't really have the best regulations on car noise. I'm a Titanium member and travel a lot. I know when it is needed to ask for a preferred room as a status member. I don't need a lazy front desk agent just pretending to think they sleep in hotels more than me. Service was 1 star. Status members are not home a lot - we work on the road and when we need a quiet room, we expect it. Room itself is the usual Aloft , very toughened room. Spacious. My shower had a bit of water on the tile when I checked in. Cleanliness could improve slightly. I think for the price this is a decent property, but the rooms are a bit beat up. The stubborn front desk agent didn't help. Would stay again if it's cheaper than the other Bonvoy properties nearby.
