Great place to stay. Comfy beds. Loved the recycling trash cans and the free drink from 5-7pm every night. Staff were friendly and excellent, and quick to accommodate when we made requests. I would stay there again.

Slightly smaller side room, but was able to work. I didn't like the bathroom situation with it being "exposed" and need to walk past the shower area to get into the bathroom. May be awkward for families, but it was okay with my partner. It being clean and friendly staff was definitely 5 stars

Tight but nice This was my first stay at this property and while there were a few things that annoyed me, I still think it was a good value. First the good. The location can't be beat and there is easy access to many subway stations. Five blocks north is the Herald Square station which is the connecting point for over a half dozen lines. One black to the east is the R & W "Broadway Local" line, one block to the west is the IRT 1 "7th Avenue Local" and five blocks to the south is the 23rd St station for the F "6th Avenue Local". The room I was assigned was on the 30th floor looking north and the view was spectacular. Yes the room was rather small, but at this price point, most are in Manhattan. Since there are only 8 rooms to a floor, space is at a premium. I found the room to be very clean and I liked that it had non-carpeted floors. The shower was great, with lots of pressure and hot water. The not so good... As is the trend these days with hotels, the bathroom has a sliding door which does not seal all the way. The result is, well, use your imagination. Turning the TV volume up helps somewhat, but when someone has to go in the still of the night, everyone will hear it. I don't know why this is such a big design trend these days and I've railed against it in other postings. If the hotel management is reading this, part of the problem can be alleviated by cutting out a one inch notch from the lower molding so that the door closes flush with the wall. Another beef of mine was the Bluetooth "Marhall" speaker bolted onto the nightstand. With space at such a premium, it takes up 3/4 of the table. This means little to no space for chargers or even a glass of water. I doubt very much that guests even use it. I found the staff to be top notch and would not hesitate staying there again.
