Friendly staff that was helpful with questions, comfortable room and nice hotel over all. Walking distance to several restaurants, safe neighborhood which is quiet at night. Most importantly, not too far from Fenway if you're going to a game or two. Would recommend and stay here again.

Came in very late on a very late flight a one night stay. Front desk person Hans was very accommodating and welcoming. Spacious and clean room. Loved the extra soft and thick towels. Definitely would stay here again.

Mixed Experience-One Great Employee, Many Disappointments My recent four nights stay at the Arcadian Hotel was a mix of positives and disappointments. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a gentleman at the front desk, who is kind, welcoming and professional. He made a great first impression. I truly wish I had caught his name because he went above and beyond for us later during our stay. The room itself was clean and decent, though it didn’t have any windows which made it feel a bit closed in the bed was too firm for my liking so I didn’t find it very comfortable for the first few nights. The AC worked fine but on the third night is suddenly stopped. We reported it to the front desk and while they said it would be taken care of. We return the next day to find the room clean, but the AC is still broken.Thankfully, the same kind employee who originally checked us in was on shift again he helped us move to another room, just a few doors down and even assisted with our bags his helpfulness really stood out in and otherwise frustrating situation. Unfortunately, the overall customer service at this hotel left a lot to be desired. Most of the staff seem uninterested and unapproachable. They spoke too quickly. They didn’t take the time to ensure guest understood what was being said, and overall lack basic professionalism and people skills when I checked out, the employee barely acknowledge me. He didn’t ask how my day was spoken, a dull monotone voice and didn’t even offer a smile. It felt like they didn’t want to be there. The hotel’s best feature is it’s convenient location, which makes it easy to get around, but sadly that’s not enough for me to consider staying again. I sincerely hope management reads this and takes action to improve the staff training and overall attitude. It’s unfortunate that one outstanding employee stood out so much simply because the rest of the team didn’t match his level of service.

STAY AWAY! WARNING- Don't book here! I prepaid for a stay, then had to cancel my reservation. They will not refund me the amount I paid, saying it was under different ownerhip when I booked. I called the former owners and they said the current owners bought their obligations along with the hotel. I'm out $500 due to their unethical business practices.

Front Desk/Corporate Problems The stay itself was fine and the rooms were fine, but this hotel charged my company card for two rooms that my party did not stay in. This was after check in was confusing, and the rooms were not organized according to reservations that I made online. After nearly a month, this overcharging issue has not been resolved, and I cannot get the hotel to call me back.
