The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

A few hiccups Upon getting to our room,we started putting drinks in the refrigerator and noticed that it wasn't running. It is mounted in a cabinet,so I slid the whole cabinet away from the wall to see if it was plugged in,which it was. Looking behind the cabinet, we found years of debris, hair, dust, some sort of liquid residue. I called housekeeping about both and they assured me that someone would be there ASAP. An hour and a half later,I had to call again because no one showed. This time a repairman showed within 10 minutes and found the thermostat on the back side off.He proceeded to call housekeeping concerning the filth and a lady arrived within 10 minutes and cleaned up the mess. The only other issue was the parking would not recognize the tickets from the same garage. I understand that this is an ongoing problem, gathered from reviews and from an attendant we located in the garage. Besides that and the heavy smoke in the casino,we had a great stay. Quiet rooms and great location.

Awful What a awful experience. We missed our flights in the Netherlands and called the hotel to see if it's possible to come a day later. They said that that was no problem. So we booked a flight later. Waited an hour to get checked in, just to be told that they are over booked and that they dont hold any rooms. So we had to find a hotel on the strip in the next half hour. Because of the concert we were planning to see. There was only one hotel left with one room available. this cost us so much stress. we had to ran to the next hotel and but our internet on to book that last room while waiting in line at the lobby. if we didn't get that room, we had to sleep on the street. What a awful hotel to do this to us!!!
