Great Beach Trip We had an excellent stay at Bay View Resort Myrtle Beach SC.
The ocean front room deck had a wonderful uninhibited view of the ocean.
We were right on the Boardwalk.
There are indoor and outdoor pools. Hot Tub and gym
The room itself was clean, neat updated, well attended and tastefully decorated.
The staff were friendly and provided great service.
The only negative we found was the annoying person in the lobby who pestered us to buy a time share .
Other wise the experience with Bay View was incredible .

Due to height restrictions (7ft. height clearance), enclosed trailers are not allowed in the parking garage. RVs / campers, trailers, large trucks, boats, buses, golf carts, and other recreational vehicles are not permitted on property or in parking areas. Assigned parking passes must be present in all vehicles either in front window dash or hanging from the rearview mirror.
- Smoking policy: Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms. A $250 cleaning fee will apply if there is any evidence of smoking in the unit or on the premises which includes the balcony. Please inquire with guest services for designated smoking areas.

Disappointed - Door Locks - No Help We were locked out of room due to faulty door lock. Front desk was person was less than helpful. Maintenance( night shift) was unable to help and needed support from day shift maintenance. We sat outside our locked door for over an hour waiting for someone to open the door.

Studio room just renovated looks amazing _ Checked in late and lady was super nice and very accommodating. My wife can’t ride in elevators so she moved us from 19th to 5th floor still OCEAN FRONT. Absolutely coming back here next trip.

Great! The outdoor hot tub is messed up but the indoor works. I wish both TVs in my room were smart TVs instead of just one. The cable doesn't have a selection guide so you just have to click through and it's a little annoying, but I didn't come here to watch TV anyway. Check in was a little slow and I had to go back and wait in line a 2nd time to get my mirror hanger for the parking. But these are all small things. Staff members all seem nice. The other guests are nice. Love my room but wish I had went for the 2 bed 2 bath because there are 6 of us.

The first and last It was our first time in Myrtle Beach, I wanted a high floor. We got there and got a second floor ocean view with trees in the way of our view. After I reserved the room in Dec. 24, I called and asked for a high floor. I asked for another room but they said they can not with the length of our stay. When we got in our room it was warm and the a/c was on. I went to the office, they sent maintenance to our room. Several rooms are hooked to 1 unit. They got it working. There is no soft chairs in the room. One light in the bathroom was barely on, 2 other lights flickered several times. The light fixture base in bathroom had rust spots on it, toilet tank had a rusty TP holder on it. Shower curtain rod angled down in the middle and curtain did not want stay closed. There is rust stain behind toilet. 2 vents in the ceiling did not have air coming out. 1 was blocked by aluminum foil or something. One evening the HVAC system was blowing hot air, it was set to cool 68 degrees, and the room went up to 74 degrees before it started blowing cool air. One morning at 4 am I got awake and.heard LOUD music outside at the pool area. I called the front desk, they sent security. About 10 minutes later it got quiet. In the front to the building there is 2 big pipes about 2 feet in diameter, on floor 7 one pipe has vent plate missing so there is about a foot by foot hole in the pipe-(CHILD SAFETY ISSUE). Not going back
