Nineteen Years of Visits and Counting My wife and I have been visiting the Bayside Resort at least once every year for the past 19 years. No, I'm sure it's not the most luxurious facility on the Cape, but it's reasonably priced, excellently located, the facilities are well maintained, it's very clean, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We plan to keep visiting as long as we are able. The two firepits surrounded by comfortable Adirondack chairs on the little marsh-side beach in the rear are really nice in the evenings, and the included continental breakfasts are excellent.

Cape Cod, Massachusetts: Historic Towns and Miles of Protected Beaches

In the late 19th century, Cape Cod blossomed into a summer vacation destination as visitors swapped crowded coastal cities for the sandy shores of eastern Massachusetts. Today, the arm-shaped peninsula, located 60 miles south of Boston, encompasses 15 idyllic towns, rolling dunes, and 300 miles of sandy shoreline—and it’s still the place where many East Coasters choose to spend their leisurely summer days. Popular attractions include fresh-seafood restaurants, quaint stores, and bicycle trails, such as the 11-mile Shining Sea Bikeway that wends from North Falmouth to Woods Hole.

On the uppermost tip of the Cape, the free-spirited art colony of Provincetown attracts visitors year-round. This is one of the best places to head for a vibrant nightlife scene—there are cabarets, bars, and lounges aplenty. Pop into the Provincetown Art Association and Museum to check out local artwork, both historical and contemporary.

Terrible customer service!!! Both wife and I came down with Covid 19 two days before we were to go. Contacted both expedia and the hotel directly.. Expedia said the hotel would do nothing as far as crediting our stay or refunding. I called the hotel and spoke to the manager who was very unmoving and would do nothing in the way of crediting or refunding. To be this strict in their policy, we will certainly not book this resort again. Terrible customer service!!!!

Cancelled within 30 mins - still BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY! we booked through Expedia - my childcare advised the weekend we chose would work so I booked it. The. They came back advising it was a mistake so I cancelled this place within THIRTY MINUTES. We attempted to explain this but they refuse to refund me and I’m a single mom with two kids living paycheck to paycheck. To not honor a first time courtesy due to an honest mistake We highly recommend the uncommoner - they were fantastic when we stayed with th earlier this year. Bayside Resort

Book elsewhere if you can I found a long dark hair in a towel in my room. I set it off to the side, so I wouldn't use it since the hair wasn't mine. The next morning, housekeeping put that same towel back on the rack because the hair was still there! Then there was leak in bathroom ceiling so had to switch rooms at 10pm. It wasn't convenient for me to switch rooms, but the Front desk did not offer me anything for the inconvenience, like a percentage off my bill, or drink tokens for their bar. When I got to my 2nd room, there was another towel w/another long dark hair! When my friend & I walked into the bar one afternoon, the bartender was sitting on a stool. That's fine bc it was early & the place was empty, but they did not get up to greet us when we walked in, & when we greeted them to ask for a drink, it felt as if we were inconveniencing them by having them get up off their seat.
