positive suprise · I travel for medical reasons. It was hard to find a place. the prices in the area are very expensive. some places we could afford looked dirty like a dive. Beverly laurel is an older hotel but spotlessly clean. someone was cleaning all the time. Kind and considerate staff. i ended needing to take my granddaughters and they bought me an extra bed and bedding immediately. the showers are huge and great for wheelchair bound or disabled because there is a built in seat in the shower. the beds were comfortable. If we called the front desk and had any concerns they addressed them right away. if i have to have more medical tests or procedure's in the area this is the place i will stay. its not super fancy but it is everything you will need. Kindness during the pandemic is a great thing to have. there is a refrigerator. take a bunch of drinks for the fridge. you will need them and it is more economic. you don't have to pay extra for the fridge. there is also a microwave and you don't have to pay extra. their soap and products smell nice. Disliked · the coffee was the worst. if you have a keurig at your house take your own pods. they have a keurig esque coffee machine. also take your own creamer unless you like the powdered kind. you only get your room clean if you request it the night before. it isn't a thing we really thought was a horrible inconvenience but just mentioning it. when we did request having our trash emptied they did it immediately.

Beverly Hills, California: Hollywood Lifestyle on the Sunset Strip and Rodeo Drive

Countless famous entertainers and business moguls work in Hollywood and the Valley, and many of them make their homes in Beverly Hills. There’s a lot of money to go around in this area, and no shortage of ways to spend it. For starters, there are many spas, art galleries, and designer shopping strips such as Rodeo Drive. For three blocks, this street is made up mostly of couture fashion stores; around that, there are 16 blocks known as the Golden Triangle, where you’ll find less expensive boutique stores, especially along Brighton Way.

Only a half mile from the hotel is the Sunset Strip, where monster-size billboards tout the latest music and movies; it’s like a Times Square with palm trees. Make a day trip to see the rock clubs, trendy restaurants, and stylish hotels and shops that live here—there’s a good chance you’ll encounter a few celebrities and many celebrity impersonators along the way.

Quaint and Charming Love! Love! Love this property, It is a quaint and quirky little place, tucked away. I have been to the Swingers coffee shop before and didn't even know this hotel was there! If you are looking for a glamorous resort, this is not it. But that is not to say that this hotel isn't a great choice. The rooms were spacious. The pool was pristine. The staff was friendly. What more could you ask for??!! The only thing I was not fond of was the parking situation. But, we got over that! We will definitely be staying there again!

Hidden Gem Renovated mid century modern rooms. Great bathrooms, clean and comfortable beds. Nice linens. Restaurant on premises currently closed due to Covid. Convenient location and covered indoor parking. Walking ( although nobody in LA walks) distance to Fairfax Farmers Market.

WILL THE REAL JOE PLEASE STAND UP?! Incredibly poor management. Who is "General Manager Joe?" Does he exist? Am I being punked? I've been trying to get a refund for four months after I cancelled my reservation PROPERLY. I called and emailed them more than 48 hours in advance (like their policy states): six emails and 50+ phone calls later, here we are with a terrible review. I haven't stepped foot in the hotel, but if the Manager's unprofessionalism is a small glimpse of how their hotel is, I'm glad I never stayed here. And trust me, I never will. I hope you don't to. The staff needs to be trained more so that they don't constantly repeat "we don't know his schedule or when he'll be in next." They've been very kind, but again, this falls on Joe. Who is Joe!?

Missed the mark Great front entrance Reno. Rooms are a good size but still feel like you’re staying in a cheap Motor Inn. The beds are uncomfortable, linen and furnishings are cheap. You can hear through the walls as if you are sharing space. No safe. We made the mistake of staying here NYE to be close to The Grove. It appeared all of the 21 year old party goers thought it would also be a good choice. It was about 9pm when they finally left their rooms to go out and it became Quiet. We are talking drinking, screaming loud noise, not a respectful bit of banter. We asked management to assist with the noise request, but they were unable to move us as the rooms were reportedly booked out. The restaurant outside of the hotel but part of the building, was great and handy.
