The most charming hotel! I loved this hotel. It has so much history and charm, if you are looking for a place to stay that has character and not just a typical hotel... This is it! Everyone that worked there was so nice and helpful. If you need any tips or help, ask the concierge! He is great. We will definitely be back here anytime we are in Denver!

No hot water!!! Stayed one night and paid over $300 for the room. Got into the room after a long trying day looking forward to a shower and bed. The towel rack flew into pieces when I tried getting my towel. Then no hot water! Couldn't call maintenance because the phone was broken. This was 10:30 at night. Had to put on my clothes and go down to the Front Desk. Maintenance showed up around 11:15 and couldn't do anything about it. Staff refused to comp the room. Never again!!!

If you like iconic old hotels with history and gracious ambiance, you will enjoy your stay at the Brown Palace. We were impressed by the friendly, welcoming service provided by all staff members throughout our six-day stay. We requested an accessible room. No water from the walk-in shower seeped out; grab bars were convenient. The comfortable king bed had nightstands on both sides with reading lamps and built-in plugs/USB ports. When we couldn’t adjust the room temperature, a technician came immediately. Our corner room was spacious. We ate breakfast daily at Ellyngton’s—perfect service and an enticing menu (see our complete review under the restaurant listings). There is a tiny, almost hidden coffee and pastry shop by the Tremont entrance. The almond croissants were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed high tea—scones, finger sandwiches, and sweets with piano music in the background. We highly recommend taking a tour with hotel historian Debra Faulkner: you’ll learn history, architectural details, and see rooms not generally available to the public. The 16th Street Mall pedestrian street is a short walk away. The superb American Museum of Western Art is just across the street at the Tremont entrance. Concierge Leewood G. helped us with tours and logistics. The live piano music in the spacious lobby adds to the elegant ambiance.
