My place at Orlando This was our second visit to this Hotel and Suites . The One bedroom suite has all you need , kitchen, fridge, dishwasher , equipped for 4 people . Nice living area with sofa bed and tv. Very good bathroom , bedroom so comfortable and spacious, no noise and fantastic bed. The location is perfect for visiting the parks and shopping and also has lot of places and restaurants just around the corner. Thanks to all specially to Ileana at front desk .

Not as advertised The whole reason for booking this hotel is for it’s shuttle to Disney Springs that they advertise of having. Get here and was told “ we are not running shuttles”! I get it’s hard to find workers these days and that some places may have to stop offering options due to lack of employees but let that be known before people book. The room is decent, my biggest concern with a room is 1. Bed,2. Pillows,3. Shower pressure and 4. Cleanliness. The lobby and elevator needed vacuuming due to dirty floors but room was good and the shower pressure was good. The bed was a little soft but that’s just my preference of like a firmer bed. The pillows were two per person and they large but very soft. If they would have the shuttle I would have given 4 stars.

Fantastic for a long stay vacation - very good! We’re just back from a 16 night stay here, and it was really very good. We had a suite with kitchenette, king bed, large desk and seating area and full bathroom. The kitchenette had everything you’d need really, and there were also extra kitchen appliances like waffle maker etc you could borrow if you wanted. Full fridge and freezer was really handy for us. Housekeeping was available upon request if you ordered 24 hours in advance, we used it twice and the room was cleaned immaculately each time. The walls are incredibly thick and we never heard a peek from any other residents. We have been staying at Lake Buena Vista for over 25 years now, so know the area extremely well, and it’s really good for local restaurants to visit. Our favourites in the area were Miller’s, San Jose, and Sofrito, but there is also Olive Garden and others within walking distance. There is a Wynn Dixie supermarket a 10 minute walk away maximum, along with iHop, gift shops and petrol stations etc - it really is a great area to stay. We didn’t hire a car and only used Uber and Lyft, with prices to Disney and Universal really good, between $8-15 depending on time of day. The hotel has free laundry washing machines which is so handy, and there’s also a free coffee machine near reception for you to use whenever you want. There’s a small shop, but it is incredibly expensive but would be useful if you just needed a small quick item you’d forgotten. There’s only one thing the room was lacking which was a safe, and that is me nit picking! Want really stood out for us though here was the staff - every single time, without fail, they smiled and said hello as we passed by reception, and they could not do enough to help us with any questions or queries we needed… they really made such a difference to our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to stay at this hotel again - it really is very good.

Family vacation but not for the parks Clean rooms, friendly staff, that's every member of staff I had interaction with. Kind and helpful. If I was being picky I would say the water for the shower could be a little warmer, disappointed with the charge for parking but we knew that when we booked. We found this an Ideal location for our vacation, several restaurants within walking distance.

Very nice I stayed here for three nights in mid-February. From the get-go, everything was great. Both Jarell and Ileana at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. I think they must have been cloned because they were always there, at all tines of the day. There was no line when I checked in (around 4:30 PM) and I was checked in, with key in hand, in just a few minutes. Either Jarell of Ileana texted me every day, just to make sure my stay was going smoothy. Nice touch. The room was nice (room 535). The beds are SOOO comfortable. Yes, there is a little wear and tear but this is a busy property near Disney, so occupancy rates and turnover must be very high. I only had a few issues, none worth calling the front desk about. First, there is a lot of dust on the top of the fridge. Most people wouldn't see it but I am 6'2" and could easily see it. Also, although I am not in accessible room, the shower head was the kind that detaches. Unfortunately the one in my shower was broken and was stuck in the lowest position. Again, since I am tall, showering was a challenge. Finally, the microwave cut off one time, displaying a message the the filter needed replacing. After I pressed "clear," it resumed smoothly. Maintenance should check these things out. It is great to have full kitchen. That is one major reason I try to stick with Candlewood Suites on my various trips. The area was very convenient, just a stone's throw from Disney Springs. There are tons of restaurants right around the hotel, all within walking distance. There is also a Walgreens in the vicinity. They offer shuttles to Disney and Universal but I never took them since I didn't go the parks this time. The day I went to Disney Springs, the drive was short (only 5 to 10 minutes), and garage parking was plentiful -and free. Based on this visit, I would definitely stay when I return to Lake Buena Vista. Just be patient and nice, and you will find they are willing to help you out. Great job from the staff!
