Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: Sandy Beaches, Golf Courses, and Classic Amusement-Park Rides
Myrtle Beach is the crown jewel of South Carolina's Grand Strand, a 60-mile stretch of white-sand beaches along the Atlantic seaboard that draws surfers, fishers, and kayakers. The city was named one of the best vacation spots in the United States for a family by USA Today, in part because of its wooden boardwalk, which stretches for more than a mile. Hop into the SkyWheel Ferris wheel’s gondolas, surrounded by more than a million LED lights, for a panoramic view of the city below.
Less than 20 miles south of Myrtle Beach, the tiny fishing village of Murrells Inlet provides a tranquil contrast to the boardwalk's hustle and bustle. At Brookgreen Gardens, more than 2,000 sculptures stand amid sprawling floral gardens and massive, moss-covered oak trees that have been around for centuries. Murrells Inlet is also home to the Tom Fazio–designed TPC Myrtle Beach golf course, 1 of nearly 80 courses in the area that helped Myrtle Beach earn its title as the seaside golf capital of the world.

Disappointment on name of Hotel Avoid this property — extremely disappointing experience.
We had a reservation for Friday, April 18, 2025. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find the property under active construction. Check-in was being handled from a restaurant across the street, with a line stretching nearly a block long. It took us over an hour and a half just to check in.
We were assigned a junior suite, and the condition of the room was unacceptable — attached photos speak for themselves. When I addressed my concerns with the front desk, the staff member was polite and offered to cancel our reservation and return the security deposit, explaining there were no alternative rooms available and no way to resolve the issue.
However, two days later, I contacted the property again to confirm the refund, and the manager, Spencer, informed me that they would not be issuing a refund. He claimed we left because the rooms “didn’t meet our standards,” completely ignoring the earlier agreement and the room’s poor condition. His tone came across as not only unprofessional but also discriminatory.
Extremely poor customer service and communication. I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.

Spring Break 2025 My overall state was OKI would have loved to have a little bit of housekeeping services. But I understand sort of staff and the construction was taking place at the hotel. Also I would have like to have condiments in my room, such as hand washing, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. The air conditioner was extremely old as well as the furniture build one side of the chairs holes in the bottom of the walls, a noisy air conditioner. And I also had to clean my room a little before we a can are stay meaning the kitchen needed a little bit of TLC. And it had a weird smell in there. And I also cleaned the bathroom. The hotel is actually In a great location where there are stores that you can get too easily and the activities of myrtle beach

Loved it Great place would definitely come back. Lots to do. Lots of pool options. Right on the beach. Very quiet in April so, if you want to be able to relax. Very kid friendly and family friendly. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. We can’t wait to go back.
