great for a quick trip I almost didn't book this hotel based on the reviews that I read but I really wanted early access to the park so we kept the reservation. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was standard and not extremely spacious but overall clean and exactly what we needed for a 1 night trip. I needed extra pillows right before bedtime and after calling the front desk they were delivered within minutes. We had a room at the end of the hall which had no view so next time I would get a " pool view" room so you can look out to the courtyard. While we didn't go over to the pool or splash pad it looked very nice from the balconies and was in use by many people. There was also a large building that had an indoor pool that we didn't use either. We got late night hot chocolate and coffee from the hotel restaurant but no food. Our room was ready before 4 pm and we were informed via text . The employee at the front desk recommended a few local spots for lunch and dinner which was helpful. There are a ton of chain restaurants on the same road should you not want to try a local spot. We went labor day weekend and the park on a Sunday was extremely crowded and lines moved slowly which was to be expected. We were able to walk over to the park the next day at 9 am. some, not all, rides were open even though we were promised early access ( not at the fault of the hotel). It was a little frustrating but overall we got through at least 10-15 rides before the park got super busy so it was worth it in my opinion. the hotel is technically a "motel" as you enter from the outside landings but overall it was clean and close to the park and exactly what we needed for a quick trip.

Horrible experience When my family and I arrived we were extremely disappointed. The door to the room is on the outside facing the parking lot. So they should call themselves the Cartoon Network Motel! The room smelled like Febreeze and was not clean. We ended up not even staying there as we felt unsafe.

Not worth it — even with children. Really. The Cartoon Network Hotel at Dutch Wonderland theme park in Lancaster, Pennsylvania charges premium hotel rates for what is a mediocre (at best) budget motel. There are no services in the rooms, it’s hard to get fresh towels or bathroom supplies, and the rooms are a getting a bit worn out (the mattresses were good, though). However, most disappointing at a hotel catering to families with young children was the unsafe, unmarked, unpainted pathway across the crumbling hotel parking lot just to get to the theme park’s sidewalk to get to Dutch Wonderland park. The hotel management ought to work with the Dutch Winderland park and make a raised, painted crosswalk! Also the hotel front desk staffers, although friendly, were not familiar with the rooms, activities,or the hotel room / park rate packages and benefits that they sell. The hotel “character breakfasts” were laughable — we saw one character come by after about 40 minutes there. Front desk phone wasn’t answered on several occasions when trying to get answers. Finally, the lack of even one single elevator at the end of their long, 2-story buildings was ridiculous and seems very odd for a hotel aimed at young parents with children, suitcases, strollers. All in all, we will take the money we spent here and stay at a better real hotel down the street next time, and drive in to Dutch Wonderland. It will be a much, much, better value for our family travel dollars. This property could have been a really great place and so much better with just a little more caring management and forethought.

Perfect Complement to Dutch Wonderland Great room spend the extra money for a Suite for sure. Nice elevator for stroller. Play room crafts and activities good. Did not like arcade. Not expensive. Pool iffy and uneven opening hours.
