Great hotel for families with children Great stay for family with children. Keep in mind there is no elevator. Rooms are accessible by the outside only. Children loved the activities and the pool. Hotel and rooms were clean. Only issues were the outdoor pool was over crowded and no seating was available. Older kids were too rough around younger kids. We were bummed the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner service on a Saturday— we assume due to a staffing problem. We will be returning — we just got back home and the kids are still talking about it.

Whomp whomp.. Glorified motel 6. Mostly outside access rooms, tiny rooms, beds terrible, faucet loose and ready to retire, scribbling on walls, weird scarring on ceilings, odd room odor. Redeeming qualities were being next door to Dutch wonderland, ac worked well, kid friendly lobby, tanger outlets across the street. Did not have time to try swimming pool.

Decent for one night and convienence to Dutch Wonderland We stayed here this past weekend. I read the reviews and I knew it was more about the experience for the kids and the convienence to Dutch Wonderland. than the room ammeneties. We got a good "stay and play" deal and we checked in and went to the park for 2 hours and were planning on getting dinner at the hotel, but the kitchen was closed on a Friday night at 6. Thank goodness for Door Dash and we ordered something to be delivered quickly so that we could use the pool area. My kids liked the pools and the activities the hotel had to offer as "filler" for the night/next am. We wanted to get to the park early so we opted to Door Dash breakfast and eat at the park. There are SO many more options of hotels to stay at to visit Dutch Wonderland, so if we went again we would try another option as we enjoy eating at the hotel we are staying at for convienence. I think they could do a good amount of food business if they expanded their food situation. The front desk was responsive when I asked for a few things and everyone was super friendly. My kids had fun and I'll get a good night's sleep at home tonight! :)

Nostalgic cozy stay This spot wasn't exactly what I had in mind at first. The rooms being accessible only from the outside was a bit of a shock, but it ended up feeling wonderfully nostalgic and cozy when night fell. They light up fire pits, and you can relax outside while your kid plays. Everyone we encountered was super friendly. I had to step out for a bit, and my husband told me our daughter was crying over something minor. That's when Berna stepped in, comforting her, walking her to the arcade room, and playing with her. She even won a duck and was over the moon. This kind of service turns an okay place into something exceptional and unforgettable. I wish he’d told me that sooner so I could’ve thanked her. Also, they should really sell s’mores kits—I’ve heard others mention it too. It would definitely add to the whole experience. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. We didn’t know they had a pool but looked fun so we’ll definitely be coming back!

Cancelled our reservation unbeknownst to us. Arrived after driving three hours with a young child to learn they cancelled our reservation when the card on file didn’t go through. No one contacted us, they simply cancelled the reservation. Only solution was one night available; we booked over a month ago for two. Unhelpful, rude, argumentative staff that insisted it’s our fault due to the card. We’ve traveled all over and have never before had this happen. We booked another hotel in the lobby and said staff followed us out to see if we were cancelling. Cancelling what? What a joke.
