Great hotel for families with children Great stay for family with children. Keep in mind there is no elevator. Rooms are accessible by the outside only. Children loved the activities and the pool. Hotel and rooms were clean. Only issues were the outdoor pool was over crowded and no seating was available. Older kids were too rough around younger kids. We were bummed the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner service on a Saturday— we assume due to a staffing problem. We will be returning — we just got back home and the kids are still talking about it.

Big Disappointment This is an old motel they wallpapered and painted. Rooms smell awful. Everything was damp, including carpet. Moldy seams in bathrooms, no fan, very little light. Requested rooms adjoining rooms or next to each other. Got rooms on 2 different floors (only 2 story motel), overlooking parking lot with smoking area. They do not clean your room everyday. The pool area did not have enough chairs for guests, and the gazebos must all be reserved. There were about 4 fire pits with chairs, again not enough for many guests to enjoy, not enough chairs in lawn to sit on. Do not even try restaurant, the service and food were a joke, so bad. The activities for kids were cute, but very small activity areas inside. This is NOT a resort! The splash and pools are very nice. The location is good for Dutch Wonderland, but you have to drive everywhere else.

Not Perfect, But Perfectly Fun for a Kid-Centered Getaway We finally stayed at the Cartoon Network Hotel after years of hesitation (thanks to the rough reviews), and honestly—it was a lot of fun! We booked one of the themed suites (Powerpuff Girls), which was simple but clean and full of charm. The staff was kind, there were activities all day, and my kids were thrilled to meet Finn from Adventure Time—more excited than they were for Disney characters! That said, manage your expectations: the bedding was rough, the breakfast buffet was understaffed, and the pool was briefly closed after a, um, "guest incident." But for the price (about $135/night), you’re getting an affordable, kid-focused experience that delivers on fun—even if it's not luxury. If you go in expecting Great Wolf Lodge service on a Taco Bell budget, you'll be disappointed. But if you just want a fun, low-key getaway your kids will rave about? This hits the mark.

Whomp whomp.. Glorified motel 6. Mostly outside access rooms, tiny rooms, beds terrible, faucet loose and ready to retire, scribbling on walls, weird scarring on ceilings, odd room odor. Redeeming qualities were being next door to Dutch wonderland, ac worked well, kid friendly lobby, tanger outlets across the street. Did not have time to try swimming pool.

Decent for one night and convienence to Dutch Wonderland We stayed here this past weekend. I read the reviews and I knew it was more about the experience for the kids and the convienence to Dutch Wonderland. than the room ammeneties. We got a good "stay and play" deal and we checked in and went to the park for 2 hours and were planning on getting dinner at the hotel, but the kitchen was closed on a Friday night at 6. Thank goodness for Door Dash and we ordered something to be delivered quickly so that we could use the pool area. My kids liked the pools and the activities the hotel had to offer as "filler" for the night/next am. We wanted to get to the park early so we opted to Door Dash breakfast and eat at the park. There are SO many more options of hotels to stay at to visit Dutch Wonderland, so if we went again we would try another option as we enjoy eating at the hotel we are staying at for convienence. I think they could do a good amount of food business if they expanded their food situation. The front desk was responsive when I asked for a few things and everyone was super friendly. My kids had fun and I'll get a good night's sleep at home tonight! :)
