Incredible From the moment I stepped into Casa de Campo’s ranch, I knew something was different. It was my second time in the Dominican Republic, and my first time in La Romana — but the experience I had at the ranch made me fall deeply in love with this place. Wanda was the very first person I met there, and I can honestly say it felt like I had known her forever. She welcomed me with warmth, kindness, and a familiarity that made me feel instantly at home. Her knowledge, her energy, and her grace left a lasting impression — she is truly the heart of the ranch. Margarito, too, was incredibly kind and patient, and despite my limited Spanish, he made every interaction feel natural and joyful. Though I grew up around horses, I’ve always preferred to admire them from a distance. But something about this place — and these people — made it all feel magical. They didn’t just welcome me; they made me feel seen, safe, and valued. Wanda mentioned the opportunity to visit Rancho Peligro, and I brought my boyfriend, his brother, his wife, and a friend. The experience was straight out of a movie — breathtaking, surreal, and unforgettable. I had originally stayed at the hotel, and when availability became an issue, Wanda went out of her way to ensure my stay continued seamlessly. She introduced me to a fellow rider and resident, and almost as if by fate, I found the perfect villa right on the polo field — a dream I didn’t know I had until it came true. To Wanda, Margarito, Carlos, and all the beautiful souls I encountered — from the check-in desk to every corner of the ranch — thank you. You gave me something that can’t be bought: connection, kindness, and a sense of home. Casa de Campo now lives forever in my heart, and it’s because of you.
