When we arrived on my birthday the hot tub was broken, the restaurant was closed with no explanation, door keys didn't work so they moved us and then door keys had to be reprogrammed 6 times in 24 hours while my wife stood in the hallway. The bar had wings on sale but their sauce is marinara with or without Frank's hot sauce. They gave a cheap bottle of wine to make it better.

Horrible Never again! This place is so run down. Our room was so cold that our windows were covered in condensation. Tried to adjust the temperature and there was no change. Had to put your shoes on to go in the bathroom because the floor was so cold. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls in 3 spots and the whole room smelled musty. We only stayed because we had already paid online for the room or we would have left! The young man at the desk wasn’t very polite either, asking why we didn’t stay closer to our destination. It’s a 4 hour drive to where we were going and considering I have rheumatoid arthritis, it’s easier on me to divide the trip in two parts. Regardless, there is a difference between being friendly and being nosy. I will always remember the smell of that place!

Do not stay here with high expectations! We just stayed at the Casablanca hotel and to say that we were unimpressed is an understatement. The beds were tiny, the rooms were dirty and dated, the carpets were gross, there were stains everywhere, the rooms are falling apart. Not worth the price!

Truly terrible A truly terrible experience! We just spent 2 nights at the Casablanca and it was by far the worst hotel I've stayed in. Having grown up in the area, I picked the Casablanca Inn as it was an iconic hotel and had a good reputation, which appears to have gone down hill significantly. The room was incredibly hot. The halls and lobby were cool, but the room was so hot and humid that we could barely sleep. It was humid enough that towels wouldn't dry, we could barely get dressed as we were so hot and sticky, and no one slept well. There was no temperature control within the room. The wall paper was peeling, there were holes in the curtains, the curtain had come off the track which prevented us from being able to close them all the way, and the beds were uncomfortable and had seen better days. They had minimal pillows, and when we asked for more, they brought up extra towels instead. There was no fan in the bathroom, which made the humidity even worse. The room with the ice machine had a prominent moldy smell, and the machine looked like it would barely work. The other major issue was the pool. As someone travelling with two children with autism and ADHD, the pool was critical to help burn off energy after a long drive. What they don't tell you on their website is that from 4:00-8:00 most evenings, the pool is rented out for swimming lessons. When we went to the pool, the swim school was setting up. We asked at the front desk if we could still use the pool, and the staff had no idea. We asked the swim coaches, and they said we could still swim, but it was incredibly awkward as it felt like we were interrupting the lessons and my children weren't able to play and have fun as the child learning to swim was quite small and we didn't want to get in the way. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst hotel experience I've had. Do yourself a favour and stay at the Quality Inn across the street, you'll likely have a better experience.
