The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals.

Disappointed and Misled, Circa Did Not Honor Their Promise I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Circa Hotel. On a previous stay, I encountered a dirty room and stained towels, far below the standard one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. After bringing this to the hotel’s attention, leadership reached out and acknowledged the poor experience. They assured me that if I gave Circa another chance, they would provide a significant discount and personally handle my accommodations to ensure everything went smoothly. I was told to call in advance and they would “take care of it.” Unfortunately, that promise turned out to be empty. When I followed up to take them up on their offer, there were no notes, no record of the commitment made, and no effort to make things right. The response I received felt more like gaslighting than resolution, a stark contrast to the empathetic tone portrayed in their public TripAdvisor replies. It’s clear now that those public responses are just for show. Circa had an opportunity to rebuild trust and prove they cared about guest satisfaction, but they failed miserably. I expected better, and I regret giving them a second chance.

Beautiful hotel but don’t get a room facing the pool if you sleep in. Pros: Nicest place to stay on Fremont St, gorgeous bathroom and furniture, good casual dining options (loved Saginaw’s and Victory Burger). Great sports book if you’re into that. Very nice staff. Cons: Beds not the most comfortable. When we checked in they warned us the room was facing the pool and could be loud. We didn’t think it would be a big deal. We were wrong. They start playing loud music at the pool at 8am. 8am! Impossible to sleep any later. I suppose not a big deal if you’re an early riser in Vegas. We will likely be back as we love Fremont St and this is by far the nicest hotel. Will definitely request a room not facing the pool.

Falls short of expectations Just returned from a stay at Circa and had a mixed experience. The hotel itself is undeniably beautiful—modern, well-designed rooms with great water pressure, and Stadium Swim is a fun, high-energy concept. We also booked through their Summer Save package, which made the value feel worthwhile. Unfortunately, service was a consistent weak point. The front desk team at check-in felt underwhelming—more transactional than welcoming. The concierge had reached out ahead of our stay to reserve both a daybed at Stadium Swim and a table at the rooftop bar. I confirmed both, but when I showed up at each location, no one had any record of a reservation. While the staff was able to accommodate us, all daybeds were already sold out. I later emailed the concierge to share my frustration and never received a response. Service at the pool was also mediocre. Our server was polite but not friendly or engaging. I even mentioned to my wife that we probably would have ordered more drinks if she’d been more personable. Other annoyances: no body wash in the room, and even after calling the front desk to have it refilled, it never happened. There’s also no coffee maker in the room—a strange omission for a premium property. And absolutely no shade at Stadium Swim, which makes lounging uncomfortable in the intense summer heat unless you pay extra for a cabana or daybed. Honestly, if we hadn’t booked under the Summer Save deal, we’d have been seriously disappointed. The hotel has a lot of potential and a great aesthetic, but service and execution need a serious overhaul. We’ll be back in Vegas next year—but we’ll be trying a different hotel.
