Bad service ethic The service is really below par with a multitude of excuses and little attempt to resolve issues. Including a non functional air conditioner in 100 degree heat. Laundry not returned or done and staff who are singularly unhelpful

Greates Staff and Hotel in New York Immediately I was in awe of the amenities and ambiance! The staff treated me so kind and so generous with hospitality. I've traveled all over the country and was immediately relieved that I was in a great warm safe luxurious space. Raimuna and Nicky were the nicest and kindestt staff I ever met. I loved the stay and will never stay in another hotel here in New York. This is the place!

Disappointed with the surprise/hidden charges My wife and I booked this hotel via Priceline, and everything was paid through the Priceline platform. The check-in was smooth, and the guy at the front desk asked for our card and took $150 as a deposit in case we would buy or damage anything during our stay if not they will return our $150. He then offered us four coupons mentioning that they are complimentary drinks that could be used at the bar. I asked the gentleman at the front desk again if the drinks were free, and he confirmed they were totally free. During our stay, the only thing we bought was a $2 bottle of water. When we got home, we noticed the hotel had charged $45.52 from our card. We called the hotel twice, and they promised to get back to us within 24 hours, but no one called us back. After more than 24 hours, we called again, but the phone wasn't picked up. We then called the front desk, retold the whole story, and the guy at the front desk said the charges were legitimate, claiming they were for amenities used at the hotel. We told him we only bought the $2 water, but he said we had taken drinks at the bar. We informed him we used the complimentary coupons for nonalcoholic drinks given to us at the bar. He claimed they weren't free and that the front desk must have misinformed us. To clarify, we checked in late, and there was 1.5 toilet paper rolls (we used one and left the half), a lotion we didn't use, and no bottled water in the room (we bought one for $2). On both nights, we came back late, and only my wife used the WiFi for less than half an hour. We're not going to continue fighting for $45.52 but we want to warn others to be prepared for surprise charges, after checking out..."
