We love this resort. This was our first time staying in a 1BR unit. The units are clean and spacious. The check in/out processes are awesome. This time surprisingly, the TimeShare vultures did not bother us. I was really pleased about that. Staff is very friendly and courteous. The resort was busy. The only amenity that we took advantage of was the restaurant. The food was great. The wings had good flavor and bite. The SoBo hotdog, turkey sandwich, and burgers were absolutely delicious. They have alcoholic drinks in a can, but they are really good. Overall great experience! This is not our first and certainly not our last time staying at this resort.

Very nice resort…HOWEVER be prepared when you check in for the timeshare vultures! The room was very home like and clean, the resort it self was amazing. The in door pool was small for the size of the resort, we enjoyed the activities they had to offer. I would definitely return.

Spacious apartment with updated decor. Everything seemed new and in great condition. Loved all the activities for the kids and the close proximity to Busch Gardens, and colonial Williamsburg.

Wyndham Kingsgate Nice place to stay, but disappointed with a $60 charge if I choose not to show up for their sales pitch the next morning after check-in. Plus an extra charge for a stay less than 5 nights. I'm on vacation. I don't want to be bombarded with a 90-minutes sales pitch.

This property is AMAZING!!! Unit was spacious and clean. All 3 pools were well maintained. Love the fact that there is an adults only pool. Staff was super attentive. Grounds were well kept. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!

Club Wyndham Kingsgate verses Wyndham Patriot in Virginia We spent 2 weeks in Williamsburg Virginia. The first week at Wyndham Patriot and then at this Wyndham Kingsgate. They are very close to each other geographically. The Patriot was much better as far as the room size and layout. It also had 2 bath/shower rooms (minus the toilet in the second bathroom) which made getting around much more convenient than at the Kingsgate. Other reviewers complain about the stacked washer/dryer being too near the toilet at Patriot, but it isn’t really a problem. The furnishings are new and appear to be clean as was the carpet at both. I am conscious of prior customers use and germs and wipe all surfaces we come into contact with disinfectant wipes. It was fairly clean; not perfect. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion supplied have a pleasant scent and are the same at both. Staff are polite, helpful and responsive at both. The walls are not soundproof and we could hear conversations of others more at Kingsgate. The properties are well maintained and there is ongoing renovation in the activities area of Kingsgate. The mini golf ⛳️ is fun and free, didn’t use the pool or hot tub and it looked like the game room had lots of electronic games that teens would like. There is also outdoor door ping pong. Note: Buildings 1-15 have been renovated. Negatives at Kingsgate: Smaller kitchen, dining and living room crammed into one space with too much furniture for the space. The bedroom only had a nightstand on one side and about a foots width on the other side, closet side…too tight. Doable yet not as comfortable. *The horrible thing we discovered at Kingsgate was when I checked under the fitted sheet that the mattress pad had more than two overlapping urine stains 3 feet across and they had simply covered it with the sheet! Gross! We bought bleach and detergent and ran it through the washing machine 3 times. Washed all the sheets and remade the bed. Not exactly vacation activity one is wanting. We also washed all our towels before use, not that they appeared dirty but because they were rough (good for exfoliating!) bought fabric softener and then they were fine. Second negative for both resorts is that the Time Share team are relentless. They do not accept, “No, we are not interested in attending a presentation or your gift”. They call your number multiple times and at Wyndham Patriot left a note on the door. They only release your room (door opening) wristband to you after checkin after you have listened to their spill.
