Great Hotel For A Pre-Cruise Stay In New Orleans We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Marerro before taking a cruise out of New Orleans. This was actually our second visit as we stayed here in October 2022 as well before a cruise. We chose to stay again in July 2023 due to our pleasant experience in 2022. The hotel was very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable and all staff members were friendly and welcoming. They had a very nice breakfast buffet as well with waffles, eggs, ham, cereal, muffins, toast and many other things. There is a Dollar Tree across the parking lot which was very convenient. We forgot a couple of things and were able to find a Sam’s Club and Walmart within a few miles . We chose to take an Uber into the French Quarter for about $25 each way. We could have driven but since we were unfamiliar with the area we felt using Uber was the best and safest option for us. It is about a fifteen drive to the French Quarter if you choose to visit there. I recommend this hotel if you are planning to cruise out of the Port of New Orleans. I found out that they have a park and cruise option where you can leave your car there for the duration of your cruise. Had we known that, we would have used that option. We had already pre-paid for parking near the port. If I cruise out of New Orleans in the future , I will use the park and cruise option offered by this hotel.

Excellent Value! We came for a Pelican's game. The hotel was clean, rooms up to date, and breakfast was well stocked, with good choices, and a great breakfast lady. This was Sunday morning! She kept tables and everything constantly clean and was helpful! I say this is a good place to stay!!
