Average Resort improvements needed front desk and housekeeping services Came together for a family reunion for 6 days. The room was clean when we arrived but the AC in the living room could not be regulated, which may be entire room Arctic cold. We could not regulate the air conditioning so they finally decided to replaced it on our 2nd day. There were no pots and pans in the room and I requested some on 4 separate occasions and never received any pots and pans so we could not cook anything the entire time we were there. Housekeeping was attentive when asked, however you have to ask for EVERY SINGLE THING that you wanted. Housekeeping did not come willingly, you have to specifically request services. If you needed your room freshen up for any reason (towels, change of bedding, trash bags, toilet, tissue, paper towels, etc) you had to specifically request services even though you were paying for it daily, go figure!. We reserved two rooms but unfortunately, we were not able to stay in the same building, way too much back-and-forth walking in between buildings to join family members. Elevators had no AC extremely HOT coming from the 11th floor and stopping on every other floor was exhaustingly, hot. One of the restaurants served breakfast buffet style for about $14. They had a variety of items from eggs, sausage, bacon, grits, pancakes, your basic buffet style breakfast. We never ate there. I just thought that was too much for a buffet when they could’ve had a little bit more variety. Another restaurant on the 2nd floor served a variety of dishes and drinks. The food was very good and reasonably priced. There were plenty of pools for water activities. Parking at the establishment extremely limited the overflow parking across the street behind the building makes it extremely difficult when you’re unloading and loading because of the limited parking. There needs to be two gyms one for each building but there was only one. I found it to be annoying as I had to leave the building crossover into another building to get to the gym each morning on the 5th floor.

Worst Girls Trip Horrible stay, sink and tub stopped up and took 2 days to unclog, front desk night manager was told 2 times about the fire alarm hoing off and finally sent someone to the room after I complained twice. No phone is in the room so i had to keep going to the front desk. He had the nerve to get nasty when I advised it had been going off for 30 minutes and it is not connected to the front desk or fire station. It went off again at 11 and no one ever came after an hour and 20 minutes. I explained the room was too small, which was a fire hazard due to the dresser blocking the front door when you first come into the room. Horrible experience

If I could leave a negative I would. This place is a complete dump. We had to wait almost 3 hours after check in to get our room and the entire check in line was complaining no rooms were ready. The rooms are so old with visible mold. Housekeeping never came to give us more towels. They charge per day housekeeping fee with no housekeeping. This place should be shut down the rooms are very old with mold & exposed wires. I booked two renovated rooms but did not received them. Front desk Tammy was the best thing about this resort, she was nice and apologized. But speaking to the manager who was suppose to call me with a solution never did. Although at check out I received a refund for housekeeping since they never came. I heard other talking about the damages and mold in their rooms. It’s very dirty and we had to clean our own areas. This hotel is dirty very poor standards. I want my money back for my first nite we were cheated. The website show pictures of rooms that are not true it’s a scam. Do not stay at Compass Cove!
